MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN's movie outfit Star Cinema is preparing for another film entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), an online report said.

The said film will feature a powerhouse cast such as Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai delas Alas, reported Pilipino Star Ngayon.

The report added that Sotto and delas Alas's first on-screen partnership is set to compete with Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla's entry, "Ang Panday".

The report, however, failed to confirm whether director Tony Y. Reyes will direct the film.

Reyes's last project, "Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak" is Sotto's comeback film with actress Bea Alonzo.
