Outer Limits aims to be a stepping stone for very young bands that desire to share their musical skills and are eager to have their voices heard with no cost in return.
A brainchild of Sazi Cosino (Sazi’s Bar formerly Mayrics) and sibling of Indiemand, Rasta Manila and Back to the Edge events, Outer Limits -- needless to say (but we will say it anyway), imbibes and puts out the group’s notion that by creating a Utopian community, all of the music industry will aspire to Educate, Expose, and Expand the possibilities and talent that each artist has.
Outer Limits has been and is continuing to be a vessel to beget superior music from alike up-and-coming bands to those-who-made-it bands since circa 2001.
Home and catalyst of bands such as: Neruda, Maryzark, Lysosome, Join The Club, Hale, Silent Sanctuary, Mayonnaise, Paramita, Fuseboxx, Angulo, Jeepney Joyride to name a few.
Is your band in need of a springboard? Sure you do. Who doesn’t want to be propelled into the limelight? Although here, we not only give bands the nudge and the break, we are a breeding ground and launch pad for plain good old music.
Strap these rules on and you are good to go to the outer limits:
Punctuality is next to Godliness. Is it not? Well then, to each his own! But know that you have to arrive on the agreed call time.
Bring your own equipment. Who goes to a battle empty handed?
Remember rule number one? Well if you do come in late, your slot will most likely be moved. So if you get pushed back, whine not. Eat a piece of the professionalism pie and don‘t complain.
Support and respect other bands in the event/gigs. Nobody wants to perform to a bunch of empty tables and chairs. IT WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED if you wait for all the bands to finish. It’s just a few, really. Enjoy and appreciate the free show.
And most importantly, NO MUSICAL DISCRIMINATION. ‘Nuff said.
