Profile:

The Audio Heavy brand started in 2010 as an independent events production outfit geared towards providing musicians a venue where they can perform their original material to an audience of fellow musicians and music enthusiasts. The said events arm, Audio Heavy Productions, staged shows in various artist bars located in the Greater Manila Area such as Cafe SaGuijo, Route196 and the now-defunct Sazi's (Mayric's) to name a few. In its two years of operations, Audio Heavy had successfully staged more than thirty shows, including album, EP, and music video launches of artists such as Nyctinasty, The ButcherCons and Game Theory.

Last year, the Audio Heavy brand led by former NU107 rock jock Cyrus "The Virus" Fernandez and up and coming music video director Paulo "Kurt Demented" Claridades decided to branch out to include in their operations artist management. To date, the management arm represents bands Giniling Festival, Game Theory, and Segatron.

In its continuing effort to find avenues through which it can assist local independent acts, Audio Heavy recently ventured into podcasting to provide yet another avenue where music from local independent acts can be heard. The resulting product, "The Anvil" officially started when Audio Heavy made available through its facebook page the first episode of the podcast on July 3, 2012.
