A.Venue Mall Open Parking (along Makati Ave.)

1 Main Stage - 8 Pocket Stages – Over 100 acts – Over 10 hours of live music !

The Alliance Française de Manille, the Embassy of France to the Philippines and B-Side Productions together with A.Venue Mall and the City of Makati bring you Fête de la Musique 2013, the most-awaited free-admission mausic event of the year !

Fête de la Musique 2013 will take place on Saturday, June 15, 4pm onwards at the A.Venue Mall Open Parking (along Makati Avenue). Together with the country’s best established and upcoming musical talents, this year’s Fête features one of today’s most exciting French Electro-Pop sensations : the Naïve New Beaters, also known as NNBS.

NNBS is composed of David Boring, Martin Luther BB King, and Eurobelix, whose differences in background and influence result in a savage kind of exotic music with touches of rock, electronica and hip hop. In 2004, they released their debut album “Wallace “ which they promoted by touring famous festivals around Europe, in cooperation with Nokia. Eight years later, NNBS reinforced their electro-pop-rock-cheerful sound with a second album, La Onda. In 2013, they share their natural energy and bring their odd and crazy but stimulating sound to Southeast Asia with a 6-city tour that kicks off on the Fête de la Musique stage in Manila.

Fête de la Musique also aims to showcase the richness, diversity and broad spectrum of the Filipino music scene. From 4PM to 2AM, over 100 local acts will rock out at both the Fête main stage and the 8 pocket stages. The main stage will feature Razorback, Up Dharma Down, SinoSikat, Noli Aurillo, Bayang Barrios Lady-I, Yolanda Moon and Hidden Nikki, together with surprise guests, just to name a few.

Independently organized pocket stages, all free of cover charge as well, will be located in nearby establishments for people to freely jump from one venue to another. They are as follows : Jazz by the PI Jazz Festival Foundation at Bay Leaf Lounge, St Giles ; Blues/Soul/Ska by Mamborat Productions x Manila Soul Club at H& J (formerly Heckle & Jeckle) ; Reggae & World by Rebel Lion Productions at Café Curieux ; Indie by Terno Recordings at B-Side ; Rock/Pop-rock by Revolver Productions at Saguijo ; Hip-Hop by Music Colony at Society Lounge ; Electronica by Nomad Massive at Buddha Bar ; and Latin at Chihuahua.

Fête de la Musique 2013 is organized by the Alliance Française de Manille, the Embassy of France to the Philippines and B-Side Productions in partnership with A.Venue Mall, the City of Makati with the support of Institut Français, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Best Western Plus Antel Hotel, San Miguel, Red Bull, Baga Manila, the Department of Tourism, Barangay Poblacion, MAPSA and the Makati City Police, together with our official media partners Myx Music Channel, Deezer, BusinessWorld, High Life, HerWord.com, Radio High 105.9, and Radio Republic.
