Celebrate Valentines with a concert that will pull your heartstrings and could finally make you –“Update Your Status” - A Valentine Concert featuring Asia’s Diamond Soul Siren NINA this February 13, 2011, 8pm at the Music Museum with the special participation of Philippines’ R&B King, Luke Mejares. 

The multi-platinum award-winning singer was primarily known for her contemporary R&B and pop sound when she released her first album, Heaven with the single “2nd Floor”, which garnered the Best R&B Song award for the 16th Annual Awit Awards in 2003. This was followed by the popularly known single, “Jealous” that allowed her to win Best New Artist during the MTV Pilipinas Music Awards.

She then took a break from her established musical genre and dipped her toes into covering classic love songs such as “Love Moves in Mysterious Ways” and the crowd favorite “Through the Fire”, recording her first live album that made her career soar unlike any other. The album Nina Live! proved to be successful, earning her a 10-time Diamond certification from the Philippine Association of Record Industry (PARI). Broadening her musical style and stepping out of her comfort zone has allowed this talented artist to be the very first female OPM singer in the country to receive a Diamond record award, selling more than 300, 000 albums nationwide.

With an overwhelming amount of awards and recognition, NINA went on a hiatus on TV from her popular acoustic group, The Sessionistas to write, produce and record her latest album, Stay Alive which showcases her maturity and change in musicality, flourishing from the staple ballads to more upbeat and fetching tunes. Her passion for dance music leaves her audience pleasantly surprised and enamored, yet still recognizing the soulfulness of her voice.
