Event:

ALAB: Arts and Advocacy Laboratorium
Music Series No. 1

All musicians are invited to be part of ALAB: Arts and Advocacy Laboratorium Music Series No.1 on April 20, Monday, 5pm at Conspiracy Bar, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City.

ALAB is a discussion series on arts and advocacies that promotes social consciousness formation through the arts. By creating venues for dynamic exchange of ideas and platform for socio-political and cultural discussions, ALAB aims to instill the core values of responsible citizenship to effect public involvement in advocacies that help in nation building.

DAKILA recognizes that art does not exist in a vacuum. After his own self, the artist has a responsibility towards the reality that surrounds him. ALAB acts as laboratorium of sorts that attempts to open minds of artists on social realities surrounding them and capture the intensity of the creative minds towards contributing to social change and the common good.

For the first ALAB series, Music Session One will feature a discussion on political music with Danish Musician-Activist Per Warming, Noel Cabangon, Gary Granada, Jess Santago and Pol Galang as resource speakers.

We are looking forward to your participation in the 1st ALAB: Arts and Advocacy Laboratorium. For more information or confirmation, you may contact us at 09054292539 or email us at dakila.philippines@yahoo.com

Admission is free.
