Quezon city based band Faintlight was formed mid-2005 by Dave Pimentel, Ron Dela Cruz and Bryan Gadia. The Trio was soon joined by bassist Emil Dela Rosa. After a couple of Front-woman changes due to personal and unavoidable reasons and circumstances, the band was fortunate to have Thea Castillo fill in the spot just recently. Now, the band is busy in the studio working on their songs and recording their EP at Pointbee Studios which they hope to release sometime this 2011.

     Never call it quits. Over the past 5 years, dozens of songs written, a number of gigs, hundreds of hurdles and 3 front woman changes: Faintlight is still here to stay. I caught them at a gig recently and got to talk to one of them. When asked about the band, he just simply said "We kept on getting hit with shit but we just kept going, rolling, hoping, practicing, writing, and we overcame it all. Now, we feel better, happier, more bad-ass than ever!" and watching them play nowadays, I could say Faintlight is indeed stronger than ever.
