Gott - it means "God", but for the band it's equivalent to something as "Great"
Descant + Gott = harmonizing metal music and translating thoughts about life such as reflections on human existence, poetry or merely expressing themselves through art and music. It is the freedom of putting together meaningful words and technical melodies coming from a variety of ideas.
