     In October 2010, four friends (led by Xley Miguel, Kaz Zabala, Kr Arguelles and Jeje Pascual) decided to jam and form a band. Having been acquainted to each other through the anime community, the members shared a common denominator, fusing a hint of Japanese music with a variety of other influences including progressive, rock, pop and alternative. 

     Originating from an inside joke with an interesting twist, the band’s name – Dolores was so memorable to the group that their drummer (Xley Miguel) decided to have it as their alias. With the band’s plan to release an EP album in the near future, Dolores is currently working on their songs and playing at local gigs to introduce a fresh but marketable sound.
