     My Ex-Girlfriend (abbreviated "MyX-GF") is a Power Pop band from the Philippines.

     The band was formed after the recording of four songs in Wombworks Studios in Marikina. Thinking that the sound was different from what the individual members have done before with their previous bands, they decided to look for a name that would suit the new sound.

     With all of the then four members figuring that the new sound is indeed "Power Pop", and not "Rock" - simply put - all the other songs for the upcoming full length were tailor-made to complement the first four songs.

     The band then proceeded to call themselves "My Ex-Girlfriend" - which is, really, NOT, in any way, a tribute to their ex's.

     On September 10, 2010, MyX-GF debuted with second guitarist Carlo Kitane Romblon.

     At the start of December, 2010, MyX-GF jammed with Carlo's younger brother Oli and found that the guy instantly jelled with the group.

     Oliver Kitane Romblon became the sixth member of MyX-GF. Oli will ride the keys/synths and beats for the new sound of MyX-GF.
