September Issue’s music defines precise categorization of feelings, alternative / poprock, and OPM style. It is influenced by bands like Maryzark, Neruda, Urbandub, Sugarfree, Mayonnaise and among others...September Issue is Darwin(guitar / vox), 2per(bass / backup / vox) and Paolo(drums).
The band was formed late September of 2008.
2per and Darwin were childhood friends sharing the same passion for music. Both came from different bands with different genres. They were able to form a band to have their compositions be heard which unfortunately didn't last long. Unexpectedly, they met Paolo at a friend's birthday gig. From that day on they used to hung out at 2per's place. One drinking session, 2per and Paolo decided to form a band after hearing one of Darwin’s composition. And they thought that since they are enjoying each other's company, why not forming a BAND? Then the rest is history...
Just to sum it up, "it's MUSIC and FRIENDSHIP that led them together, and it would be the same thing that would keep their band strong till the end".
The band just celebrated they’re 1st Anniversary gig last 24th of September 2009.
