In the late 2007 the band was formed by Ariel Lumanlan and Bjorn Santos, the two guitarists along with Jeff Cabudoy who became their bassist. During that time the band had different members who are also from different bands and already started writing songs. Then, on the later part of the year the band reached its hiatus stage so Bjorn decided to go to Australia for a while to fix his citizenship and stayed there for almost a year. This was also followed by the band’s vocalist Leo Maglalang who was also leaving for United States to pursue his studies there. Since then, the band struggled completing its lineup so the materials they already started didn’t pushed through.

Until the summer of the year 2008, they got a new drummer, Ian De Guzman followed by a new vocalist Marc Velasquez. This was the time the band tried their luck on having gigs all over the metro and even out of towns. Luckily the band got a lot of recognitions from places and towns they played. During this time the band’s name was Fallen Oppression that lasted for more than a year. Then decided to change the name to Arcadia that can be easily remembered compared to its previous name Fallen Oppression. Arcadia’s music is a combination of metal, punk and hardcore and singed under Tower of Doom records.
