Engulfing the night in high-pitched shrieks, crackling grunts and disturbing prayers, witness as the stars succumb to a harmonious cocktail of dark melodic riffs, brutal shreds and non-stop pedal grinding. Until at last it becomes fear itself, we are Lagim.
Lagim is a black metal band that has spawned from deepest trenches of Pasig City. First performed on the month of April 2010. Since then, like hungry wolves, they have been relentlessly ravaging the metro and inducing dread into the hearts of the masses up to date. Their sound can basically be described as a melting pot of different metal genres. With black metal being their main, they bravely and cleverly infuse influences of death metal, deathcore, hardcore, progressive metal and a few others more to the mix. Currently having four original songs and two more on the process, they plan on releasing their first EP on the early half of 2011.
