She comes from the famous Salvador clan in showbiz and Jobelle Salvador, daughter of the late Leroy Salvador, was also able to make a name on her own especially with the movies she made most notably the successful and “iconic coming-of-age movie “Bagets” of which she was part of the cast. Jobelle also appeared in several TV programs not only locally but also across Asia. Her success is showbiz was not limited to her onscreen performances but behind the cameras as well. Because Jobelle produced and directed several shows and events both here and abroad including the US.

She has also proved her mettle in business and has sharpened her management and organizational skills dealing with diverse groups across Asia and the States while serving as
Regional Marketing and Content Manager for a multi-national multi-media company.

But Jobelle became more engrossed in public service when she was tapped by the Department of Tourism as Ambassadress of Goodwill. This afforded her the chance to work with Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) most of whom women. Her work eventually led her to establish the Women's Oasis to Maintain Bless (WOMB) Foundation in Tokyo, Japan to address the needs and problems of our fellow countrymen working abroad. Her advocacy eventually brought her back to the Philippines to drum-up support for her cause.

Jobelle is running on a platform of “Kabuhayan, Kabahayan, Kalusugan at Kababaihan.” She believes that her simplified approach to governance will allow more people access to basic services. Having travelled and worked all over the world, her exposure to the efficient programs and practices of highly successful nations has provided her the impetus to work towards more efficient governance. She observed that efficient delivery of basic needs and services contributes to a strong community.

And being the only female vice mayoralty candidate in Makati, Jobelle places great emphasis on women empowerment, on upliftment the status of women in the community. Good luck, Jobelle!
