The Metro Manila Film Festival 2009 reached its conclusion with its awards night presented last December 28 at the SMX Convention Hall. Ang Panday, starring Bong Revilla, bagged the Best Festival Picture award. Here’s the list of the other award winners:

Best Festival Actor: Bong Revilla for Ang Panday Nominees included Dolphy for Nobody, Nobody but Juan, Vic Sotto for Ang Darling Kong Aswang, Manny Pacquiao for Wapakman, and Gabby Concepcion and Derek Ramsay for I Love You, Goodbye

Best Festival Actress: Sharon Cuneta for Mano Po 6 Nominees included Iza Calzado for Ang Panday, Angelica Panganiban for I Love You, Goodbye, and Cristine Reyes for Ang Darling Kong Aswang

Festival Best Director: Joel Lamangan for Mano Po 6 Nominees included Mac Alejandre for Ang Panday, Eric Quizon (as Enrico Quizon) for Noboby, Nobody but Juan, Laurice Guillen for I Love You, Goodbye, Tony Y. Reyes for Ang Darling Kong Aswang, Rico Gutierrez, Don Michael Perez, and Jessel Monteverde, Shake, Rattle & Roll XI, and Tofel Lee for Wapakman

Festival Best Supporting Actor: Phillip Salvador for Ang Panday Nominees included Eric Quizon, Jeffrey Quizon and Eddie Garcia for Nobody, Nobody but Juan, Dennis Trillo for Mano Po 6, Jojo Alejar for Wapakman, and John Lapus for Shake, Rattle & Roll XI
