Synopsis: “LABABO” (Kitchen Sink) covers significant dates concerning the Philippines’ relationship with the United States. Parallel to these events is the story of a young woman and a crazy woman who both fell in love with the same American soldier.
This story happened way before the alleged rape of a young woman by a group of US Marines at the Subic Bay Freeport in Olongapo City, Zambales last November 2005. “Lababo” is the first short film produced by the University of Makati Film Society (UMak FilmSoc) under adviser Seymour Barros Sanchez.
